A French Navy Officer's Sword M. An.XII (1803).
87cm overall, blade 73cm, traces of original gilding, lightly etched with stands of arms, and foliage. Brass hilt retaining about 50% bright gilding. Anchor on 2 crossed flags on centre of hilt. Fine quality black horn hilt,
generally good condition £500-£700
