William Crook later served as a Sergeant in the 80th Regiment of Foot during the Second Anglo-Burmese War of 5 April 1852 to 20 January 1853; the roll confirms entitlement to the India General Service Medal with clasp Pegu, adding ‘Died 30.3.53.’
