Greek Coinages, Italy: Half Shekel, struck in Bruttium, c. 216-211, during the Second Punic War

Obverse: head of Tanit left, wearing crown of barley, pendant earring and pearled necklace

Reverse: horse standing right; solar disk flanked by uraei above

Metal: silver; Punic weight standard; 3.68g/4h

Condition: Almost extremely fine with lustrous grey patina; a little weak on the reverse £300-£360
