Obverse: head of Apollo Karneios right, with curling ram’s horn and goat’s ear

Reverse: μετα: ear of barley with leaf left

Metal: silver; Achaean weight standard; 7.63g/1h

References: Noe 337m, this coin = Weber 749, this coin; Rutter 1508; Ashmolean 687

Condition: Good very fine, a little surface porosity; the portrait unusual, well struck up and charming £1,200-£1,500
