Roman Imperial Coinage, Augustus (27 BC-AD 14), Denarius, Lugdunum, 2 BC-AD 4, [–] avgvstvs divi f pater patriae around laureate head of Augustus right, rev. [–]sares in exergue, avgvsti f cos desig princ iv[–] around Gaius and Lucius Caesar standing front, each togate and resting hand on shields, behind each is a spear upright, in field between simpulum left and lituus right, 3.59g/4h (Ghey 372.3, this coin; BMC 519-35; RIC 207; RSC 43). Double struck on the reverse, obscuring the exergue, otherwise about fine £30-£40
