British Iron Age, CATUVELLAUNI, Cunobelin, AD 8-41, Stater, Plastic type [Class 6], ca m[–] divided by ear of barley with five pairs of grains, rev. cvno below, large ringed pellet below horse galloping right with fine pellet mane, branch above, pellets in field below tail, below branch and before horse’s head, 5.38g/3h (Ghey 7, this coin; Sills O57/R105; ABC 2786). Light hoard patina, firmly struck and well centred, good very fine £1,200-£1,500
