British Iron Age, CATUVELLAUNI, Cunobelin, AD 8-41, Stater, Classic A, Arc Stem type [Class 7c], ca m divided by ear of barley with five pairs of grains, base of stem with two pairs of downward turned arcs above a splayed base, rev. cvno below, horse prancing right with fine pellet mane, branch above, 5.44g/8h (Ghey add. 3 2021T655, this coin; Sills O76/R131; ABC –). The horse well centred, fully struck-up and of beautiful classic style, almost extremely fine, attractive coppery gold £3,000-£4,000
