French and Spanish Fleets Defeated off Toulon, 1744, a pinchbeck medal, unsigned, body hangs from a gibbet, fleet beyond, rev. troops watching a lion subduing a cock, fortified harbour beyond, 38mm (MI II, 583/223; E 581). Two minor stains, otherwise good very fine with much original colour £80-100
