British Iron Age, TRINOVANTES, Uninscribed Issues, Stater, British G [Early Clacton type], devolved head of Apollo right, wreath hairs knotted, leaves pointed upwards, rev. horse galloping right, ‘eye’ in left field below tail, pellets and devolved charioteer’s arm above, curved exergue below, 5.93g/5h (Sills, class 2a [O5/R13]; ABC 2329; BMC 158, same obv. die; VA 1455-1 var.; S 27). Corrosion on obverse, otherwise fine and a light coppery gold £300-£360
