Æthelred II (978-1016), Penny, Benediction Hand type, Norwich, Lyfinc, lefing m¯o nord, 1.68g/3h (Doubleday 366 and SCBI East Anglia 1155, same dies; BEH 3146; N 769; S 1147). Legends partly weak and a few minor peckmarks in centre of reverse, otherwise very fine and extremely rare (£1,500-2,000)
