English Hammered Gold Coins from the Collection of Barry Allen

Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Sixth issue, Halfcrown, mm. woolpack at end of legend on obv. (over tun on rev. [?]), bust 7D, 1.20g/3h (Brown/Comber J16 [see footnote]; SCBI Schneider –; N 2011; S 2537). Possibly removed from a mount and a little crimped, otherwise very fine and very rare (£1,500-2,000)
