Lizars, seated Hibernia crowning farmworker with wreath, plough and animals at sides, rev. wreath, named (John G. Coddington, Timolin, 1843), edge impressed (For the Best Five Acres of Thorough Draining in the Ballytore Farming Society), 45mm (Lane, Went and Bateson, NSI Occ. Papers 19, no. 1). Some scratching in obverse field, otherwise about extremely fine and toned, an early award (£50-70)
