James IV (1488-1531), Groat, Edinburgh, mm. crown, tressure of nine arcs, trefoils on cusps, stars by neck, legend ends iiii, rev. three pellets in first and fourth quarters, mullets in second and third quarters, star stops, 2.14g/6h (cf. SCBI 35, 850-1; B 14, fig. 675; S 5342). Centre of reverse weak (tooled?), otherwise nearly very fine (£200-250)
