Roman Imperial coins, Divus Antoninus (Consecrated 161), Denarius, draped bust right, rev. PVELLAE FAVSTINIANI, Antoninus seated left on platform with female (Faustina?), both leaning forward to receive a little girl carried by a man standing before them, with another man pushing a girl forward at side of platform, 3.62g/12h (RIC 399a; BMC 325; RSC 262), records the founding of a charity for orphaned girls established in her name after her death. Extremely rare, very fine £500-600
