Milton Miller was born in Ifield, Sussex. A Saddler by occupation, he attested for short service with the Royal Artillery at London on 3 September 1900, aged 21 years, 10 months. He served as a Collar Maker in the Royal Field Artillery in South Africa. Discharged on 3 September 1901. With copied service papers.
