John Kenneth McIntosh was born in Coburg, Ontario, on 25 August 1888. A Lineman by trade, he enlisted into the 34th Battery, Canadian Field Artillery, at Toronto in November 1915, and served with the 6th Battery, 2nd Brigade, in France, where he was wounded on 29 August 1918 - namely by shrapnel in the left buttock and right shoulder. Awarded the M.M., he was demobilised at Halifax, N.S., in April 1919’ sold with copied service papers.
