Arthur Charles Heathorn was born in Victoria, B.C., on 15 April 1892. A Glassworker by occupation, he enrolled in Vancouver, B.C. in November 1914, and was reported as ‘Missing’ - later killed - on 19 April 1916, during the battle of the craters at St. Eloi, in the Ypres Salient. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. He was the son of Arthur and Priscilla Heathorn of Vancouver; sold with copied service and other papers.
