Private William Weir, of the 20th (Central Ontarion) Battalion, late 126th (Peel) Battalion, served in France from November 1916 until April 1919. He died in August 1930; sold with copied service papers.
Lance-Corporal Victor Egleston enlisted into the 99th (Essex County) Battalion and served out in France with the 19th (Central Ontario) Battalion, where he was severely wounded by shrapnel in the chest and face on 15 September 1916. Discharged as medically unfit in February 1919, he died in September 1934; sold with copied service papers.
Private Walter Blore, who served in the 19th Hussars during the Boer War, enlisted in the 58th Battalion in June 1915, when it was noted he was suffering from ‘lung trouble’. He served overseas but was discharged as being medically unfit in March 1917; sold with copied service papers.
