(Civil) a magnificent Knight Grand Cross sash badge, 108 x 74mm. excluding suspension ring, 22 carat gold and enamels, hallmarked on top loop and in reverse centre, London 1835, maker’s mark ‘WN’ for William Neale, small chip to blue enamel before obverse motto and some very minor loss to wreaths, otherwise nearly extremely fine and rare £5000-6000
