James Thomas Cox was born and lived in Aston, Warwickshire and enlisted at Birmingham, serving initially with the East Kent Regiment. Serving with the 1st/20th Battalion London Regiment, he was killed in action on 5 July 1917 and was buried in Woods Cemetery, Ieper, Belgium. He was the husband of Mrs F. J. Cox of 14 Bracebridge Street, Aston, Birmingham. Note: others with this name on the C.W.G.C. list.
Herbert Henry Jury was born and lived in Sevenoaks, Kent, and enlisted at Tonbridge. Serving with the 20th Battalion London Regiment, he was killed in action on 1 October 1916. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.
