James Thompson Nesbitt was born in 1886 and educated at Wallasey Grammar School. He joined the T.A. in 1910, and went to France early in 1915, with the South West Lancs., R.F.A.. He was severely wounded in the fighting at Peronne on 21 March 1918, whilst serving with “A” Battery, 95th Brigade, R.F.A., and died four days later on 25 March. He is buried at Etaples Military Cemetery, France.
Richard D’Arcy Nesbitt was severely wounded in the back and right hand on 26 September 1916, whilst serving with the 7th Battalion, Liverpool Regiment.
