Charles I (1625-1649), Pattern Halfgroat, in silver, by N. Briot, signed b on rev., similar, rev. fidei defensor, crowned cs in centre, 1.40g (SCBI Brooker 1255, same dies; N 2687; S 2856A). Flan slightly bent, obverse good fine, reverse about very fine and toned (£90-120)
