Vivian Morrison Marshall was commissioned from Sergeant in the Artists’ Rifles as Lieutenant, R.A.O.C., in 1940; temporary Captain 1942; transferred to R.E.M.E. in 1942; W/S Captain and Acting Major 1943; retired as Hon. Major in 1946.
