With copied m.i.c. showing first service in the Balkans in September 1915 - serving with the V.A.D.; Q.A.I.M.N.S. and as an Orderly with the French Red Cross. A note with the lot states that Miss Walker was a Nursing Sister with the Girton and Newnham Unit, Scottish Women’s Hospitals. In copied extracts from A History of the Scottish Women’s Hospitals, by Eva Shaw McLaren, she is mentioned several times as serving at a Serbian refuge/orphanage on the Isle of Corsica. Listed as a Serbian speaker. Serbian decoration not confirmed.
