Enrolled, 16 July 1872; Jemadar, 1 April 1890; advanced to Subadar and retired sometime before November 1901. Entitled to Queen’s Sudan, Khedive’s Sudan, and I.G.S. for Punjab Frontier 1897-98 . Although the 20th Punjabis did not serve in the Sudan, in May 1895 a detachment of 2 V.C.O’s and 64 men were sent to Suakin to strengthen the 26th Punjabis.
