This medal is fully confirmed in India Office Records which show that a medal with these four clasps was sent to W. Wyon on 17 March 1854, to be impressed with the name of Fifer J. Jones, 12 N.I. Entry No. 1394. Medal sent to Madras 4 August 1854. One of only 24 medals issued with four clasps and only one other with this combination. Sold with copies of the relevant rolls.
