Second Class Master Gunner Albert Bayspoole served with 6 Battery 1 Brigade Scottish Division, as an instructor in gunnery. He was commissioned Lieutenant, Coast Brigade R.A., in April 1889, and became Adjutant, 1st Orkney Volunteer Artillery, in 1894. He retired in the rank of Major in 1906, aged 56. Sold with a copy group photograph and further service details.
