1914 Star (43227 Dvr., R.F.A.); British War and Victory Medals (43227 Dvr., R.A.) the first and last sometime lightly silvered, otherwise very fine (3) £30-40

Served previously in the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry, as Private F. N. Jones, and is entitled to the Queen’s medal with 3 clasps and the King’s with 2 clasps. He served in France from 16 August 1914 (entitled to clasp) and was wounded in the leg in France in May 1915.
