Frederick Charles Leeden Chatterley, born St Pancras, enlisted London, was killed in action in Gallipoli on 18 August 1915. He landed at Suvla Bay with the 1/11th Londons on 10 August 1915, and five days later the battalion was in support of an attack by the 10th Division on the Kiretch Tepe Ridge. It was during these operations that Sergeant Chatterley was killed. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Helles Memorial. Sold with further research including a copy portrait photograph.
