Bethel Creaser was born at Nottingley, Pontefract, Yorkshire, and enlisted into the Corps of Ordnance Artificers in December 1883. He served in Egypt from March 1885 to March 1889, including operations at Suakin in 1885 (Medal with clasp; bronze star); in the Cape of Good Hope, May 1896 to December 1898; and in Mauritius, December 1898 to March 1902. He received his L.S. & G.C. medal in 1903 and was discharged at Chatham on 10th December 1904. Sold with copy service papers.
