The group is sold with a quantity of original documentation including parchment discharge certificates, Soldier’s Small Book, two portrait photographs and two group photographs.
Lawrence Dillon was born in Rochdale, Lancashire, and enlisted at Rochdale on 4 November 1890. He was discharged on 3 November 1902 and recalled for service in the Great War from 14 September 1914 until 19 December 1919, when he was discharged physically unfit for war service.
