Harold Davenport was born and enlisted in Manchester. He served formerly as No. 90224 Liverpool Regiment before joining the 1/7th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers. He died of wounds in France on 29 September 1918, and is buried in Thilloy Road Cemetery, Beaulencourt.
