Sold with three original parchment discharge certificates. Albert Bamber enlisted in the 1st Battalion L.N. Lancashire Regiment, from the 3rd Battalion Militia, on 2 December 1893. He was born in Preston, Lancashire, in 1875 and was by trade a piercer. He was transferred to the Army Reserve in December, 1902, and discharged atPreston on 7 January, 1910.
