Medals to the Duke of Wellington's (West Riding) Regiment from the Collection of Mr Donald Hall

A Boer War presentation silver-cased pocket watch, by Kelita Marsden, Cleckheaton, hallmarked Chester 1902, the reverse outer cover engraved with Regimental badges and Crown above a scroll inscribed '1st Vol. Bat. Duke of Wellington's Regiment', the inner cover engraved with presentation inscription 'Presented to Private J. Cooper, 1st V.B.W.R. Regt. by the inhabitants of Cleckheaton in recognition of his services as one of the volunteers from Cleckheaton who served in the South African War 1900 1902', two small chips to the white enamel face, otherwise in working order and good condition
