Royal Marines, an extremely rare Field Officer’s two part rectangular waist belt plate c1837-1855, the copper gilt back plate with silver mounts, the crown over ‘VR’ cypher and a small silver oval tablet below this with raised design of a crown over the fouled anchor, slight wear and scratching to the gilt otherwise excellent condition £300-500
