H.M.S. Barfleur was a Battleship of 10,500 tons, built in Chatham Dockyard and launched in August 1892. A total of 70 officers and other ranks of the ship were entitled to the China Medal with the two clasps. Clasps confirmed.
Private H. J. Tristram received his medal from H.M. The King on 8 March 1902.
