Harris records the moneyer Wulfric active from William I type 6 (Sword) to Henry I type 5 (Voided Cross and Fleurs), i.e. a 30-year period from c.1077-1106, but not in Henry I type 1. However, a cut Halfpenny of this type by the same moneyer is known to exist.
Unfortunately, further details of the provenance of the present coin are not known to the cataloguer
