Edward III (1327-1377), Pre-Treaty Period, series Ga, Groat, London, m.m. cross 3, annulet below bust and in second quarter of reverse; Halfgroats (2), both London, m.m. cross 3, annulet below bust; Treaty Period, Groat, London, m.m. cross potent, no marks before EDWARD, double saltire stops (N. 1193, 1201, 1247; S. 1570, 1579, 1616). First Groat better than fine but obverse bright from cleaning, one Halfgroat fine but with small striking split, others mediocre (4) (£50-70)
