Charles I (1625-1649), Third coinage, Briot’s issue, Sixty Shillings, mm. thistle-head and b, 29.95g/6h (SCBI 35, 1424-6; B 5, fig. 1005; S 5552). Some small marks on horse and light tooling of a metal flaw behind it, otherwise extremely fine with attractive tone (£800-1,000)
