Militia L.S. & G.C. notified in Army Order 292 of August 1915. Only 141 awards were made during the reign of King George V.

Leonardo Cassar was born in the Parish of C. Chircop, on the island of Malta. He enlisted in the Malta Regiment of Militia on 23 May 1897, and was discharged in consequence of the disbandment of the Regiment on 31 December 1921. Sold with copy attestation papers and relevant Army Orders.
