L.S. & G.C. medal awarded in 1921.

Alfred Francis Jones joined the B.S.A. Police on 1 May 1901, and had previously served as a Trooper in the Matabeleland Relief Force Corps in the 1896 rebellion, for which he received the medal. He retired from the police in November 1922 to his home at Llangenny Crukhowel, Breconshire.
