Phineas Matarirano Nyika was a long serving police officer in the British South Africa Police of Southern Rhodesia. He was awarded the Colonial Police L.S. & G.C. which was notified in the Southern Rhodesia Government Gazette of 22 July 1960. Four years later he was awarded the Colonial Police Medal for Meritorious Service, notified in the London Gazette of 13 June 1964. He subsequently received the Rhodesia Police L.S. & G.C. and Bar, published in the Rhodesia Government Gazette of 13 August 1971. Sold with copied gazette extracts.
