John Grover (†1696), tailor, also churchwarden; married Jane Hopper of Amersham in December 1655. This is the second issue of Grover’s 1655 token, which utilises the original Ramage rev. die coupled with a new obv. from another maker. The first issue (B & M 61) utilises Ramage dies for both sides
