William John Templeton, who was born in Duncannon, Co. Tyrone, enlisted in the Imperial Yeomanry in January 1900, direct from the Denbighshire Hussars. Drafted to the 29th Company, 9th (Welsh) Battalion, he served in South Africa in the period February 1900 to May 1901 and was discharged on his return home; sold with copied service record.
