George Ronald Bennett died of wounds on 7 October 1914, aged 19 years, while serving in the 2nd Battalion, Welsh Regiment. The son of William and Bessie Bennett of Weymouth, Dorset, he was buried in St. Nazaire (Toutes-Aides) Cemetery, France.
