Battn.’ complete with leather sweat band, the front peak area damaged, some moth damage and the skull partially crushed; the second complete with gilt metal fittings, the multi-part frontal plate severely damaged, internally complete with leather sweat band and silk liner partially detached and retailer’s details ‘Phillips, 4 Dame St., Dublin’, evidence that several plates have been applied to the skull, condition as described (2) £200-300
