Killed in action, 2nd Battalion, 25.9.1915, Hulluch. Sold with 6 pages from the War Diary which states; “Meanwhile the 15th Division on our right and the 1st Brigade on our left had succeeded in driving the enemy out of their front line trenches. Owing to the fact that almost all my officers and NCO’s were either killed or wounded it was very difficult to obtain information as to the progress of the attack....”
