2nd Battalion South Lancashire Regiment (Prince of Wales’s Vols.), a very fine and ornate Colour Belt Plate, c. 1903-20, large oval beaded silver-plated back plate, overlaid with ornate gilt display of battle honours, laurels, etc., centrally on a blue enamel ground, a gilt scroll ‘Waterloo’, silver Sphinx ‘Egypt’, and ‘P.W.V.’, above, the Prince of Wales’s crest and motto in silver-plate and gilt, the reverse with 4 screw fastenings, some cracking to enamel, otherwise excellent condition £150-250
