France, Tête d’une Femme, c.1850, an oval uniface cast bronze portrait plaque by E. Tardieu, bust left, hair coiffed into a bun, wearing ear-rings, oak leaves below, 222 x 160mm (BDM –). Extremely fine with wonderful chocolate patina, very rare and a most attractive museum quality piece (£250-350)
