H.M. Submarine Spearfish won Battle Honours for Norway 1940 and North Sea 1940. Having torpedoed and damaged the pocket battleship Lutzow in the Kattegat on 11 April 1940, she was herself torpedoed and sunk by the U-34 that August. There was only one survivor.
